Growing up, I never knew my body could heal itself. Medication was always the answer to every symptom I had, no matter what it was. I even started to accept some of my health problems as “Getting Older” at the ripe old age of 18. But as a freshman in college, my symptoms got so bad that the medication could no longer mask them. I reluctantly visited a chiropractor due to a very persistent family member who assured me that it could help. To make a long story short, I GOT WELL.
That experience changed my life so much that I decided to go to school so I could do the same for others. While in school, I had the opportunity to meet some very special doctors who called themselves “Upper Cervical Doctors”. I noticed that they all had miracle stories of people getting well in their offices and that they weren’t surprised. They expected people to get well. They spoke about the amazing healing ability that is within each and every one of us, and how the body can heal itself. I had never heard that before.Since then, I have had the opportunity to help my own family as well as friends, neighbors and even those in other countries get well through the power of Upper Cervical Care. Now I have my own miracle stories and I too expect people to get well. It truly is a blessing to be a part of the Upper Cervical profession and I am thankful for each and every person I have the opportunity to help.

I grew up in Buffalo, NY where I attended Canisius College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following college, I went on to the Medical University of South Carolina to pursue a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science. While attending school, I began experiencing headaches. Because I was at a Medical University I had access to a wide variety of testing, medical examinations, and professional opinions. Finally, after two years of daily headaches, several rounds of anti-depressant medication and a complete loss of hope, someone suggested that I see an Upper Cervical Doctor. I had never really heard of this type of care before, but at this point I would try anything.
I’m happy to report that within a few weeks my headaches stopped. I also noticed my body changing in other ways. For example, my monthly cramping disappeared, my hip stopped “locking up” like it always had, and I did not have indigestion anymore. The list of improvements seemed to go on and on. Practicing Upper Cervical for me is truly a blessing. It is such a rewarding job because we are able to see people get well every day. What a joy! I am excited to see you in our office very soon.
